WE! We don't know actually..The only real solution to this is deleting the game and doing a clean install.
Would i lose my progress?
It's a coin toss, depends on the device, but usually progress is saved. Worst case scenario, you can skip to new content when starting a new game, it unlocks most of the content, apart from latest 1-2 updates.
