Hello, I apologize for any inconvenience. Please allow me to clarify. This is a patched (improved) version of an original Patreon game. It is offered as early access, just like on Patreon. Due to Patreon regulations, the version you purchased here won't even be accessible there. It is unique. The price goes down little by little until it's free, at which point a new episode comes out. It will become a stable version and be sent to Steam and other retailers as soon as season one is finished, which is soon. At that point, the game may most likely offer you lifetime free updates. Patrons and subscribers on SubscribeStars make monthly payments during the development phase, which helps. I hope you understand. I sincerely appreciate your help. In this situation, I suggest waiting a few days for it to become free. And I'm attempting to find out how to express gratitude to previous customers on itch.io. For previous customers, it will be simple for me to locate their names and add them to the game's gratitude screen. It is a little challenging to do that because itch.io only discloses the buyer's personal email and withholds their name.

I still don't get it. Every other game I have paid for on Itch allows me to download the latest version on release. I bought version 1.18 (on sale) and It was out allowed me to get the 1.19 update, so why not this one? If I had known I would only get one update, I wouldn't have bothered. Perhaps you should make that clear on the main page.
