tried downloading and playing groove v3 but for some reason it just runs v2, did i do something wrong?

You sure you clicked on the right download? I highlighted it in the image below.
Are you sure you extracted the game properly after downloading it?
You didn't just overwrite the old version of the game, did you? You really should save it somewhere separately.
Check the top-right of the window when you play the game, does it say v0.307?

thank you!!! for some reason i had to download the archiver to different times, but it did the job and i can finally play the new content!!
