hmm maybe it is a bug not sure. was told to make a staircase with separator but can't stand on the created blocks. Looked great

Yeah, the separator gun is a bit hard to get used to at first. You have to press X three times for the blocks to become platforms. Pressing X for the first time starts drawing, second time stops drawing, now you have to stand away from the blocks, and finally pressing X the third time will make the blocks solid.
