Thank you very much for your comments! Glad to hear you liked the game. I know the map has some issues (especially not being able to connect it with the player's physical location) but it was due to the fact my students found it difficult to get oriented through Athens and asked for it. Apples are the only healing item you can find for now. You can buy them at the market but they are only useful for the platform scenes. The plan is to add more battles and quests so I hope they'll become more useful soon. Thanks also for telling me about the owl. It's (I think) already fixed. I see! The apple probably has a diegetic reason, but I probably just missed it- I assumed it was part of a puzzle that would require the guy on the south of the hill.
Not sure how I would approach the map (maybe have Scenes associated with a predefined coordinate value when you go to the Map Screen?), but it's fine for what it is!
I hope that your students enjoy the game, it's certainly a novel way of teaching methinks!
