I would also like to see lvl99 of the characters(tho that's not possible)

Well, I still have some ideas for quests inside this RPG (like paying Mao's and Jeanne's debts, getting to know Jeanne's family, Lianna paying her family a visit, and a questline involving another beast people village to the south), but those aren't my priorities now.
As for the metroidvania one, I'm learning Game Maker Studio right now so I can make it, but it'll probably take a while (like months) till there's anything playable. I'll be working with a small publisher now so it won't be free either, but hopefully I can release a free demo.
The max level is 15 for the protagonists, but there's a secret playable character who is lv 20 actually. The max lv used to be 99 but that's really unreasonable considering the exp curve, so I set it at 15 and balanced the hardest content around it xD
