I really liked the graphics and atmosphere of the game.
Maybe I'm missing something, but I couldn't get past the wolf even if I slept and moved the log around. I assumed I was supposed to jump over the wolf by standing on the log?

To get past the wolf, you need to break the branch on top of the wolf's head by jumping on it a few times. Then, sleep until spring to kill the wolf with the ice on top of its head.
