Visuals are nice, and moving around was cool... the frames were fine but for some reason my gpu was maxed at 100% so I was a bit worried and didn't get to finish it. I can run stuff like elden ring without anything like that happening so not entirely sure what was wrong.

Thanks! I think there might be an issue with either UE5 or something I've inadvertently done. Another person reported the same high GPU utilization. I asked about this in a few Discords, and people generally think UE5 is more GPU-hungry than UE4. Some even referred to that behavior as being typical for UE5.

So I did a few experiments to see if I could reduce the GPU utilization. I have a 3090 and am playing the game on my primary monitor, which is an LG 120hz 38" widescreen. I'm not limiting the frame rate on the GPU and have Vsync set to Fast. I had a suspicion the grass foilage might be part of the issue. I think these tests confirmed that is true.

1Game as uploaded, with grass foilageFPS 75, 99% FPS 63, GPU Utilization 98%
2Game as uploaded, no grass foilageFPS 108, 99% FPS 98, GPU Utilization 97%
3Game limits FPS to 60, with grass foilageFPS 60, 99% FPS 55, GPU Utilization 82%
4Game limits FPS to 60, no grass foilageFPS 59, 99% FPS 57, GPU Utilization 54%
5Game limits FPS to 120, with grass foilageEffectively same as 1
6Game limits FPS to 120, no grass foilageEffectively same as 2

So I'll see about fixing that in the next patch. :-)
