I think overall you got it going in the right direction, but yeah I think for a blues version I'd like the rhythm to have a bit more real feel to it, and this felt a little bit too stiff. Even still, nice job!!

Yeah, it certainly lacks some variation on the melody and rythm, especially at the end I would say.
