Real World House is a tongue-in-cheek downtime hijinks engine for FIST. In between your regular missions, you play out reality TV style conflicts and chores.
The PDF is two fairly dense pages with a strong horror aesthetic that's a little bit undercut by the tone of the material. The text is dense, but readable with magnification.
Contents-wise, most of the supplement is roll tables for chores and household conflicts. Which might sound like a negative, but these are all flavorful and there's a brilliant mechanic tucked in. During missions, you can cut away to an Office-style confessional scene where you highlight conflicts with another team member to gain a WAR DIE. This both adds a little more fluidity to the WAR DICE economy and helps establish character relationships.
Overall, the vibe here is sort of Archer, which might not fit every group. However, the cut-away mechanic is solid gold, and the focus on downtime does a lot to help ground FIST's game structure.
If you want your superpowered spy drama to be more of a workplace comedy, Real World House should be at the top of your shopping list.
