Awesome, glad it finally worked for you haha. The controller support is kind of half there. I just did a bunch of work on the UI to get it ready for controller use, because like you found, you can't interact with the UI with the controller right now. It should be done by the time the games ships.
Despair still needs a lot more messaging, it's not clear right now. But it grows while you're fighting, and killing enemies reduces it. I'll make sure to make it more clear what is going on with that.
And you're not bothering me at all, it's great feedback. You've helped me fix three killer bugs already that I wouldn't have found otherwise, so thanks for that. Hope you do start up a channel. Thanks again for trying me game.
