This song has a lot of heaviness to it that kind of seems to mirror a descent into madness. If you were going for dark, then mission accomplished! The clock sound effect in the middle was a cool touch. The use of the major melody over the minor drones at the end made my ear unsure of what was diatonic and what wasn’t, which significantly added to the creepiness factor.
