27) It might be planned already, but despite (the feeling) of getting close ("maybe I can prove my sincerity") with the deer lady I cannot offer her anything. I am not sure what the (planned) trigger is, but I am druid. This class would be, with shaman, a logical choice to understand her but alas.
There are four ways to bypass the (first) White Stag battle: The MC can have the Smith, Bard, or Knight class, or Zephyra can be along for the encounter. Each of these will allow either the MC or Zephyra to promise to do something for the Stag to prove their sincerity, but as far as I know they don't *actually* have to do this--they just promise to do so, and it will skip the fight against the anthro Stag.
I think you still have to fight the Stag in its beast form no matter what.
