I have a feeling it might be a dead end, waiting for Grimdark's magic. However, it could need one of those extra special wristwatch computers for hacking ( General Store item).
Yeah, I spent an in-game day failing to hack the door's code. That tells me it's most likely awaiting the other end of a story/quest to turn up.
Or it could be the exit from something!
