This was a pretty fun game. I enjoyed figuring out the movement patterns of the different enemies and "outsmarting" them to get to a key or race to a door. 

I also like the bird's-eye view of a whole region, a la Zelda II. I always enjoy that in a game.

That said, the project departs from the central Metroidvania conventions in a couple of significant ways. Gravity is not a gameplay factor; the movement is grid-based; and I was not able to access additional abilities (although I got stuck, so perhaps I just didn't get to that point!).
