soo the main character says to check on marissa and lucy but when i enter the mayor's house all Lucy says is "Do you need any help in the kitchen" i'm unable to go upstairs to check on Marissa and there's nothing to interact with in the kitchen.. any help would be greatly appreciated.

also i'm unable to leave the mayor's house once i've entered it.

There is a sparkling dot in the kitchen, next to the to the sink, interact with it and Nicci will start to make some tea.

so i loaded the save to see if i was just being blind but as far as i can tell there's no sparkle anywhere in the kitchen

If you can give me the save I might be able to see what's wrong...
rpgmaker is a weird beast, I know the trigger is there on the dialogue with Lucy, but sometimes it just Doesn't work as it should -.-'

Yep, the switch didn't trigger as it shoud've -.-'
HERE is a fixed save.
Now you can interact with the stove properly.
