The game looks good! 👍 I really like this unusual approach to this project. But it seems I have encountered bugs.
I see an object on the kitchen stove, but I can't pick it up. Not knowing where to go next, I decided to save the game in the church and quit the game. But the typewriter didn't save my progress. Maybe I did something wrong?
First off I just want to thank you for taking the time to download and play this game! The version I have uploaded currently does seem to have a lot of little bugs, that I have been trying to squash.
For the things you did mention I'm glad to see you did decide to use the fire extinguisher on the fryer fire! Problem is like you experienced the object shines hoping you would pick it up. Sadly in this version you are not able to.... but when I polish up a few more things and get my next release up and running it is now obtainable.
As for the typewrite I'm not sure what happened on your end. Did you have an Ink Ribbon, and did it display your save info (character currently playing with, and location).
If so if there is any way of getting me that info so I can look into it some more.
Hopefully these bugs haven't been a deterrent as this is my first bigger project and am still learning the rope of building games.
