For Mac; Extract the archive, and navigate to PachecosAdventureMac->Contents->MacOS . Find the file "Pacheco's Adventure" and drag it in to a command line terminal. Run "chmod +x" on the file to make it executable. Run the file frome the terminal again without the command to change permissions, and it will tell you you can't- then open System Preferences->Security & Privacy and tell your computer to run it anyway.
