I love the mechanic! but it seems there's an isses with the health bar? I keep advancing to the next level each time my health goes to 0....

Yes there was an issue with the published game sadly. If you want, I uploaded a patched version on another page because I must keep the original publication for the game jam. You can play it here ^^ That issue is fixed + there is a real game over screen and you can go back to checkpoints too.
I'm working on another patch to be able to skip the dialogues.
