Not sure I understood what you meant. Infinite as in, the player can just keep jumping down forever instead of the camera being still all the time?
Yeah, something like that, although that may defy the purpose of the UFO being at the bottom. I suppose even just a graphical way to make it look like you are moving rather than being in one place. E.g. the background moves.
