An alternative to Patreon is SubscribeStar, I have an account over there as well. They allow any content, for now.
As erotic content is against the terms of service of most payment processors (Stripe and Paypal included), enabling direct payments will probably result in a ban for the receiving merchant account. The solution offered by itch.io isn't really a solution, I'm afraid.
seems to me what we need, is a payment processor that doesnt bow to cancel culture :/ i understand that they need to avoid aiding and abetting the production of despicable M.A.P. content, but this work doesnt even come close, it certainly is not in any way illegal in any country that i am aware of.
butt seriously, what dont they understand about fiction, there is far more filthy content in middle-school libraries nowadays under the guise of LGBT grooming..maybe PayPal needs top stop processing payments for public school tuition fees?
i'll look into subscribestar, but i think ill just put this on the backburner til it makes it to steam, thats where im getting about half of my adult content nowadays.
