That's very strange, I'd like to think it's a quirk of the itch updater.

Is this on Android? I've had some problems with Android saves in the past but I can't see how it'd happen to a windows save. If you have to access the save files for any reason on windows, they're in %appdata% -> roaming -> moncurse.

I'm going to keep trying to see if there's a way this could've happened but do check you're on the right save (1/2/3), just in case!

This is on Windows (10 specifically). I only had 1 save file as I didn't know there were multiple slots. checking the folder in the moncurse appdata; it appears everything was fresh. no save until I just started a new game. No idea what could have caused it to delete. I definetely had a save as I had gotten as far as the "Voice" mission after the shrine quest.

I checked with some others who'd also updated to the new patch with the itch updater and they didn't have problems, I'm not sure what caused it...

I'll still keep an eye out, I don't want anyone else's data getting deleted.
