Hello! New user on Itch.io here. This game caught my attention, but I have some questions before I buy it.

1. It says it costs $5 or more. Do I have to pay taxes on this game or worry about paying monthly?

2. About updating the game: It says something about extracting to a new location, like Winrar. I have no idea what that is. Am I supposed to install something before purchasing Aida?

3. If I were to get a new computer or laptop, should I use a flash drive to transfer the game and save data from the old computer to the new one?

Other than that, I'm excited for the full version.

Not the creator, but:

1) Once you pay the money, it's yours entirely, maybe some minor VAT or other taxes, but you don't have to pay anything else.

2) Winrar is an application that you can purchase. It allows you to extract compressed and zipped folders, which you can use to download most games, applications etc. legally (and illegally, if you want to). It costs like 20 to 30 dollars, but again when you buy it, it's yours forever.

3) It should work as long as you transfer all the save files from the old version to the new version. Otherwise, if you're playing the same version it always works guaranteed.

Hope it helps!

Helps alot, but about the 2nd part:

Are there any free alternatives to this Winrar? Zem mentions to use winrar or something similar.

None that I know of, but if you need it for free, you can always pirate it of course lol. Alternatively, I'd recommend looking it up on google

Actually, I just thought of something: Do I really need Winrar or something similar for updating?

If you cant use winrar or cannot afford it, you can install 7zip, being a free alternative

Winrar or other programs similar to it are needed, as the game comes in a compressed file (.rar or .zip, cant remember)

actually you dont have to pirate winrar or anything. You can download straight from the source and the eternal free trial is the core feature of its busines model. If you are a corporate you will have to pay, nonetheless.

Winrar, zarchiver, and a dozen others are just decompression agents, Aka. unzippers, Aka. unpackers.

Most are free, and some OSs have one built in. Just pick one to install... Winrar is the go to for windows, while zArchiver is one of the best for Android.

No taxes that I've noticed.
