Started playing, and the story seems interesting, but I have one concern.
It is near impossible to tell what is a thought vs what is being spoken out loud. There are no cues in the text to make that differentiation.
It may be worth it to use a method other visual novel authors have, and put thoughts in parentheses:

Then you can leave normal dialog without any special markers:

I think it would make the story a lot easier to understand, and more enjoyable.
Overall I am interested in continuing the story (just barely started), but I wanted to make this comment while it was fresh in my mind. I am looking forward to the rest of the story lines!
