i really like the premise and how we are given some background of the characters and the world without it all feeling heavy to read. i didn't immediately think of Hakan (referring to your latest post), even if i can totally see the similarities lol, but both are likable so far (especially him, for obvious reasons~). I do agree there could be more, i totally expected something like the human doing chores, talking to the kids and some dialogue with the director, while the derg could have some trouble on his way to the tavern (tied to the previous vegetable cart accident?) or while renting the room.

there are some typos, mostly "wont", "cant" and one "its" instead of "it's" once, a few inverted letters or doubles, but not much. I did also notice some good situations where having a choice could be fun, like replying in a slightly different way or daring to hug the derg before leaving him to the orphans or not, but i take it those will come (can't wait to hunt for juicy bad ends~).

But yeah, i like the setting, chars and story so far, the artstyle is great and the, uh, "cutscene" was an adorably welcome surprise.

Aww, thanks! Much appreciated! And I have a feeling the prologue extension will satisfy a few of your recommendations :)
