I finally figured out how to get the web player thing to work.
So PSA, It looked like my index.html files wasn't being created because I was selecting my desktop as the folder to zip in. Not sure if that was the real reason but once I switched to an actual folder the index.html file appeared.
After that I realized that I was creating a RAR file and not a Zip file. I later learned that Itch.io only works with Zip files specifically.
Needless to say, I'm new to all of this. This was my first time participating in a game jam and also my first ever game brought to the internet. It was so much fun to participate in and learned so much.
