There are a lot of things I really like about this composition! Overall it sets the stage well for the tension leading up to the take-off of a large rocket ship. The big brassy chord walls give a sense of the enormity of the rocket. The panning effect of the spacey synth chirps is really cool. The strings pulsations feel like the countdown phase leading up to the actual launch. The chordal movement through different keys feels very spacey and lush. The melody that arises at 0:58 is very beautiful and the full orchestral swelling chords accompany the beginning of an epic adventure really well. You obviously have knowledge and experience in composition and it’s because of my respect for your talent that I’d like to offer a piece of constructive feedback. In the melody section at the end, you have two melodic ideas each with a call and response structure, which works really well. I noticed that the final response was noticeably shorter in length than the preceding phrase which left my ear expecting more. Harmonically, it concludes really well, at the same time there was a sort of abruptness that made me initially question whether it was actually the end. All things considered this is beautiful and you should be very proud of this! Great work and thank you for sharing!
