I never thought about how icbm sites operated before, especially the ability to launch missles on their own... scary stuff!
Also loved the Cyrillic text, I speak Serbian natively, so I could read most of it!

Yes. Unfortunately Perimeter does exist and it is rumored that is still in use (even if it is probably not as silly as I depicted it). If you want to know more I recommend to read the book:
