Is it unexpected that I find this game extraordinarily melancholy? Probably not, but nonetheless. It forces me to confront the incredible difficulty of productive communication: knowing a person well, finding the right content, finding the right words for the content, finding the courage to send it. All of these are basically impossible tasks, not to mention that in the end we haven't even had to do the real work, the work of making the message true.
Of course there's optimism as well. A deep and abiding belief in the power of words to truly and consciously change another person's life for the better. That tension, between the impossible and the unavoidable, is beautiful.
Thank you so much for the game! I genuinely love it.
