They got rid of them. They're going to be implemented in the game itself whenever they release the next update. But I don't expect that for quite a while considering it's been half a year since the previous one and they're a team of volunteers.
I was actually thinking the next one would drop relatively soon. I think it was supposed to be a significantly bigger update than the last couple times, and they were 3 and 4 months apart. 7 to 8 months seems about right.
