This game was unbelievably sweet! The atmosphere was absolutely perfectly done!
The gui was so cute and soft feeling, the music was stunning and the sprites were really adorable! Especially the voice acting, the whisper-y voice the actor used made every scene feel more intimate in a way. The the flashbacks were a nice touch to confirm the players interpretations! The poem was really good too, I loved the beautiful word choice and the desperation in the last parts, it was great!
Plus I'm a sucker for a soulmate trope and this whole game was just really really cute! Loved it!

and YES, van is viet!!! my viet king <3 he likes bun bo hue more than pho, loves che thai, more familiar with southern viet dialect. in one life, i like to imagine he got to visit vietnam and take many beautiful pictures
