now we'll finally tackle the Beta yey. judging by the descriptions alone, I'm guessing a grumpy hot man(Logan) who looks like Bernard? lolol, nice update man, feeding us with lots of content.

edit: nvm, did the Mythshore event, he has black hair and stuffs alr. but I see no Bernard at all heh

ah now I'm feeling bad for him. pretty sure after curing him, he'll blame himself for what happened to Mythshore. and with this whole "gonna hunt monsters bla bla bla" stuffs only to be a werewolf himself, and ofc, the fate of Mythshore included, we're looking forward for a probably grumpier character than Logan. I'm excited man.

that being said, before his memory ended, there's this bit about him and Ruben, a hunter and an apothecary having a platonic relationship or something. now I'm really looking forward on being able to cure him, and he'll realize that he was save(helped) by an apothecary again, really excited how our relationship is gonna work with this dude lolol. if he were to be cured and all tho, where is he gonna stay? are we having a 3rd roommate? damn man, this update is way more awesome when I think abt it. nice work Hyao!

I'm gonna say he won't blame himself, his mission is killing monsters, not protecting people. if they are around and he can protect them, he will. but that's not the purpose, it's to kill whatever is a threat. however, his becoming a werewolf thing is absolutely going to become a "problem" to him and means your prolly right about him becoming grumpier than Logan lol.

I also wonder how this will turn out, Caleb was able to remember his entire time as a werewolf so I wonder what memories he will have? will he remember the times he attacked people and be furious with himself for becoming the monster he hunts, or remember the... activities he partook in with the Alpha? plus how is he gonna react to being a permanent member of the Bareshade pack? specifically because he literally won't be able to turn back to human since he was a werewolf WAY longer than Caleb was, meaning it should be the same case for him. plus where he will stay feels a little obvious, Caleb is being treated like a resident because of us, we can do the same for him! and he will stay with his wi- friend Rose!

oh ye, I feel like at first he won't give a damn about the Mythshore, but at the same time I feel like he will, dunno HAHA. cuz we still have Isaac's diary in our possession, most likely to "calm" or use on regaining the hunter's humanity, and the bit with him and Ruben where for a moment he felt a companionship or platonic friendship, only for him to dismiss it seems to me that he's still gonna end up feeling bad. also iirc, I can't go back to the memory scene, overwrite it with a save, but when he's saying his parting words(with harsh treatment) to Isaac, he mentioned something like "killing monsters so they can never kill a human ever" or something like that, so there's that too. but eh, we'll see ig. can't wait for him to meet Logan lol.

I bet he'll remember everything, and unlike Logan who only turned into what he hates the most (but he's kinda accepting the alpha role now atleast), our grumpy beta hunter here not only turned into monster himself, but probably ended up hurting, worse, killing humans too while he's in that state. it's him breaking the very rule he set to himself, oh also he got fucked by a monster too lol. now it's guaranteed, grumpier Logan otw man, but seeing how he's has a deeper connection with Rose out of all people, I'd say he'll recover in a steady pace, that being said, I wanna romance him lol, so Rose, get out.

oh night howling, I wonder what changes is he gonna add once we save him? can't wait man.

actually yeah, he was kinda close to the town in the sense he became a local legend and had essentially become a hero to them.... so maybe he will later. I was purely thinking about how he thought back then, but things may have changed. especially because of Isaac's Diary and his connection he started to have towards Rose. plus with that thing, it's possible he has a person he loved die and that's why he started but he forgot his reason or maybe the thing that killed his potential friend/lover/family member was a werewolf and that reminded him and his becoming a werewolf could cause him to go through a self-reflection period and begin to feel the regret or sadness he kept out by using his hatred towards monsters as a replacement for other emotions. also, his meeting Logan would be quite interesting, since if we're correct, they will literally be perfect "friends" because they both feel the same, absolute hatred for what they have become. absolute hatred towards the things that are now directly connected to them by who they are. they are the only people who could understand each other, and if I'm right about Blackwolf being unable to turn back because of how long he has been a werewolf, it could potentially help both of them heal. specifically, because Logan has to view an almost literal Mirror of how he feels but stuck in the werewolf form, and Blackwolf will have to view an almost perfect mirror of how he feels, but able to freely change form. maybe Blackwolf will being to resent Logan's freedom or covet it in some way?

I hope he remembers everything and remembers how we tried to help him and that's what starts our relationship with him because he trusts us and not many others due to whatever he's been through. also the resentment he would feel because of what he's done as you said could potentially break him, and since we don't know if he's gay or not so that could.... complicate things with what happened. another thing I wonder is if his connection with Rose will make it so he comes to peace like how we got Logan to be partially accept what he is after bonding with him or if he will never accept what he is and just denies it or something. also, I wonder how Caleb will react to Blackwolf? they will be in the same position, just one accepted what they are and the other most likely won't, and yeah I wanna date him too, but he'll prolly be like another Logan just very different lol.

with Night Howling he'll prolly do the same thing Logan does and join lol.
