I'm curious is it safe to use Eye of Cthulhu in a commerical game considering its in Terraria?

Cthulhu is a cosmic entity created by American horror writer H. P. Lovecraft in 1926. The entity's first appearance was in the short story The Call of Cthulhu, published in Weird Tales magazine in 1928.
