we actually had a very similar idea during brainstorming. It's great to see it executed! I pretty quickly found a way to abuse the vision cone by moving my mouse in circles really quickly. Making the character always face the mouse or make it turn really slowly could have prevented it and might have added a nice little level of complexity :)

Thank you for the feedback! I'm planning on continuing to play around with this idea and develop it further after the jam ends so this will be very useful to test out.
