I enjoyed the game because I love development games in general.
I know we only had limited time but here are some suggestions that I think will make the game more fun:
Add a visual thing to indicate a harvestable plant
Add a mechanic so the player can enjoy the time while waiting (maybe clicking on plants to fast grow them)
Add different effects for different plants ... some plants love winter while others prefer summer.
