I like the concept, but feel the core idea of playing as the zombie doesn't really change the gameplay much. It does make the awkward controls a lot easier to explain as imagine actual zombies don't really have full control over their motions!
I thought the postprocessing effects were very cleverly selected to cover the lack of detail in the environment, and the menacing loop was cleverly hiding the lack of other sounds!
I found it hard to see what direction I would move in if I were stopped. Seems to be about 45 degrees from where I thought. The walk animation is way too slow for the zombie's speed too, leading to a huge amount of foot-slide. Just a visual thing, obviously.
I got to the room with two enemies, but the camera didn't switch as I entered. I managed to duck past one of them and line them up, but as I attacked the closest baddie (or goodie, perhaps?) the other finished me off. I felt like that wasn't really my fault as I couldn't see them in the distance, or the room shape etc. I stopped playing right there.
Bit of a pain to download almost 900mb, unzip, perform a security scan, run, find it needs to install a runtime, reboot then finally get to play. Would be far better as a browser game, but I know that's a bit harder to do, especially under the strict time constraints of a games jam.
Congratulations for making a fully working game! Not an easy feat in 48 hours.
