Fun iterative puzzle game. From design perspective, I'd like to see the gridlines more clearly defined. Also, you probably don't need "build" vs. "destroy" buttons - you can imply it based on whether you click an empty or a blocked space :)

We wanted to make the grid more visible, however there were much more important things to finish so we decided to focus on them.
As for clicking the background, we asked some people which solution would be better and ultimately they decided that 'build' and 'destroy' button made more sense and were easier to understand.
But we might update this game after the jam ^^
