Really good take on the theme and the game concept! I really like the several additions to the main games. Dodges and perfect dodges are great mechanics, and then the game greatly diversifies with lot cool ideas. My only issue were the controls, especially for vertical movement. The gravity is really strong, and pulling the duck up is most of the time tedious. Once you get used to it, the game is quite fun though!
Good work too on the aesthetic, really close to the NES game while still having its own identity.
