I like the idea, but it's very hard to control. I think an FPS style camera is kind of awkward for this kind of game. But definitely could be polished into something really cool.
I had the idea of attaching the camera to the car, but I thought fps style would be faster and easier to do. Perhaps later I will make a camera that will look at the track from the side.
