Generally the Mac build should just work as long as you have applications by unknown developers turned on.
I occasionally have problems with the Mac build pop up. At the moment I can't help with this as I am PC only and generally it works, but because of these I have bought a refurbished Mac that is due to be delivered between the 20th and 27th of July so I can be a bit more useful on this in the future.
Once I've figured out how it all works I'll send the game over to myself, get it up and running and I'll reply again if nobody else does beforehand with a step by step guide on how to get it working.
