3D games are somewhat closer to reality than 2D, and to me 3D NSFW games are starting to become uncanny.
Text adventures are fun; if they have enough illustrations they're similar to visual novels. It's hard to tell why, but having a textual description of a story somehow conveys more feelings to me than a still image or even a video.
