great idea! liked the mechanic of switching control between the player and enemies, i was gonna do something similar and decided not to the last minute lol, the art looks good but the UI needs some work, its not clear what all the bars mean for a while. maybe just a fake loading screen with an explanation of the ui can help. apart from that, it would be a bit better if you made the sprites a bit bigger. overall i really enjoyed the game!
