The most common cause of this problem is a corrupt settings.ini file in your AppData folder ( shortcut "%appdata%/Strive" on Windows ). Deleting the file will resolve the problem. The only data maintained in the program folder is the active mod list, which tends not to have any problems, so deleting it won't help unless you installed mods.
