Hey Nutty Studios. I loved working on your project for day 2.

I loved the look of the tiny planet and the UFO and how they both move.

I was wondering how you made the nodes for the placement of the buildings and trees. Were they all empty objects dotted onto a sphere in your modelling program of choice? It definitely is reminiscent of the top-down Civilization games with a hexagon board.

I would also love to know what you think of the additions I made to the project.

Nice, I like the work you done. The beam that you added with the cows moving up when you're abducting them is so cool. The shield effect is pretty cool too.

To make the nodes I did do it in blender, I used a flat plane roughly the size of the pentagon faces and used the magnetic tool (not sure what it's actually called) to place each node individually. The snapping magnetic tool automatically rotated it so it faced the right way. I'm sure they're was better ways to do it but I didn't have time to figure it out.

That makes sense. That must have taken a little while to do. I imagine you didn't need to place nodes on the water, which would have saved time right?
