that's weird. the game is 2 dimensional and doesn't require a persistent frame rate at all. or perhaps ue5 just likes to toy with me, not the best engine for 2D games...

It has sprites, support for tilesets, support for 2D animations by texture combination, and all the usual stuff. although the engine automatically smooths textures, which makes using a pixelart style very complicated. After finishing the game, it auto-smoothed the textures on export, although in the engine I made it not do so, so I was eventually forced to export this game on development settings. this is also the reason for the relatively large file size.
