I'm so happy to hear development is going well, it's so exciting! I can't wait! Re: saving, I really recommend using a pre-built system for it from the asset store and not trying to do it for yourself. ...unless you're using Unity Visual Scripting, it has Saved Variables that are pretty reliable (QMP just saved an int of the level number and loaded that scene. Feel free to chuck me a message if you want to chat about this more).
