I'm a bit late, but it seems you read the comments and quickly fixed the issues that would've made me the report the submission, good job.

As for the game itself... an attempt was certainly made. It's almost nostalgic playing this game and it reminded me messing around in Scratch a decade ago.

I'm sure you already know what technical issues needs to be improved by looking at other submissions and I sincerely hope this Jam will be a foundation for your future creations, so I'll cut all of that and comment on a design choice I not a fan of.

The "darkness" is supposed to be obscuring the screen, thus giving the player a reason to turn ON the light. However, the "darkness" resembles the ink from the bloopers from mario cart, which is to say that they didn't do a good job at obscuring the screen. Coupled with the fact that the hammers trigger when players turn ON the light, the mechanic seem more like a nuisance.
