This was a great idea for the jam, and there are tons of good thematic visual touches. The fonts, colors, and intro story did a lot to sell the narrative of your game - well done!
I found the game to be very challenging. I think adding a "previous shot" indicator would go a long way toward making the game a little more forgiving. I want to see the angle and strength of my previous shot to help line up my next attempt.
There were a few clever puzzles that I was able to bypass by shooting directly at the tower instead of navigating the bounce pads. And there were a few places where the bounce physics didn't quite work - if the ball is moving fast enough, it can get stuck in the bounce pads after a direct hit.
Overall, this was a good idea and a strong take on the theme. And I am impressed that you implemented it with so much visual polish in such a short amount of time!
