Nothing to unlock in the demo, so there is no point in collecting the tapes.
Besides the demo is of the old build, and they remaking the game, so the demo shows the concpet of the game, but the new build is gonna be different in design and characters. Tho it seems its taking to long for them to get something new made for it at the moment.
