Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a Youtuber. If you like my videos, please leave a like and subscribe at my channel.

This was a really interesting horror game that is quite different from the ones that the creator had created in his previous games. The Final Pin is more focused on the story-telling and incorporating various horror elements in the game. The Final Pin has a really interesting and attractive storyline that pushes the player to figure out who is the killer in the game and the effort and time spent to create the amazing ending scenes for the game really makes the entire experience feel complete and full. Furthermore, the voice-acting for the game was really, really good and it really adds value into the entire horror game experience.

The Final Pin makes use of horror elements like rusty metal in the sewers, the fear of drowning, narrow hallways, large spaces, lighting, well-placed jumpscares, puzzles, quests, great eerie music and sound effects and more to create a one of a kind game experience for the player. The various segments of the game depicting the things that the main character has to do on his job really helps the player to understand the various difficult tasks that a police officer may have to do from time to time. The clever use of separate story segments and side quests really help to create an immersive experience for the player.

The game was also good at adjusting the mood and atmosphere of the game where after every tense and scary moment/quest in the game, there will always be a driving scene of the main character heading back to his own home all by himself which gradually changes based on the urgency of the entire killing situation. The driving scene really emphasises the loneliness and how depressing each day can be for the main character. Moreover, the transitioning between the past and the present to let the player learn more about the main character's background and family was really nice as well. I also really liked the retro graphics in the game and the entire game just looks stunning.

The only minor issue that I had with the game was the amount of time spent travelling to places and through opening and closing doors (Black Screen). I feel that the short amount of time required to open doors and enter the next area can be quite long if you add up the amount of time used in the game for just entering a new area and opening doors.

Thank you for reading my comment and I will be looking forward to the next horror game that the creator will be working on in the future.
